Danmaku Chess

Have you ever wanted to play chess, except the pieces fight back with waves upon waves of projectiles? Probably not. But now you can! Danmaku chess is your traditional sort of chess game, except in order to capture a piece, you have to beat it in a shoot-em-up. Plus, if you blunder your own piece, you can defend it against the oncoming curtain of projectiles.

Sounds easy? Maybe. Maybe not! With four different levels of difficulty for the shoot-em-ups, and six different enemies to play chess against, there's plenty of ways to play.

Controls:

• Arrow Keys - Navigate
• Z - Fire/Select
• X - Cancel Placement
• Esc - Pause
• All the menus/the chess portion also works with the mouse!

This game is still in active development. However, for the sake of having a demo for people to test and enjoy (and for me to graduate, this is my final :D) I'm putting an early access demo here! It'll also go on Steam whenever the page is approved, look out for it there! Or here. I'll probably add a link that sounds smart.
